Our Mission 

AIG students shall exhibit high performance capabilities and intellectual areas in specific academic fields. The students will be provided with an appropriate education for all students with abilities, from all family backgrounds, socionomic levels, and genders. The AIG students are given the opportunity to discover and to nurture his or her potential. Mitchell County Schools require a range of educational options to meed the needs of each student. Our AIG Program commits to planning and maintaining a program for advanced learners within our system which is flexible enough to respond to the changing goals of education and which prepares our students to become life long learners, able to compete in our rapidly changing world.
