Mitchell County Schools
is a public school system nestled in the beautiful mountains of
western North Carolina. We have eight schools in our system:
one high school, two middle schools, four elementary schools and one
primary school. We currently serve 2200 students grades
Kindergarten through 12. Our system is fully accredited by the
Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
