ACADEMIC BOOSTERS CLUB
TEACHER REQUEST POLICY
- All requests must be submitted in writing
utilizing the ABC Request Form.
- No verbal requests will be accepted or
granted.

Each section of the
ABC Request Form must be completed or it will be returned to the
person/department for completion before submission to the club for
approval/discussion.

No expenses will be
funded retroactively. (Do not submit a receipt for a purchase that
was made prior to submitting a request form to ABC, or before an
approval is granted. ).

When a request is approved
an invoice for the purchase must be submitted to the Treasurer
within 30 days of approval of the request. Failure to provide the
invoice will result in a cancellation of payment from the Academic
Boosters. If an invoice is delayed due to backorder, you must
notify the club Treasurer, Beth Burch at
ncwinter@bellsouth.net. If your request was funded by other
means you must notify the Treasurer within the 30 days. Failure to
notify the Treasurer will result in denial of future requests.

Monetary sponsorships for
competitions will only be considered for Mitchell High School
affiliated group club competitions. Please include all fundraising
efforts on your request form.

The Academic Boosters Club
meets the first Monday at 4 PM in the Mitchell High School
library. Please keep this time frame in mind when you submit
requests to the Boosters. Generally, requests are discussed and
approved by vote at meetings.

The completed written request
form should be submitted to Mr. Jack Brooks. It is suggested that
you notify the Academic Club President, Jill Howell at
wildonion@ccvn.com of the request submitted to expedite
approval.
