Basket and raffle tickets are going home today! Don’t forget — we’ve added a sweet new Basket #15: CANDY! 🍬

We’ll be selling tickets through October 30th, and the drawing will take place on Friday, October 31st for all baskets and donated items! 🎉

Every dollar raised goes right back to our students — supporting field trips, classroom materials, and academic programs. ❤️

📢 Middle School Parents: Tomorrow we will have a guest speaker for Red Ribbon Week. Students brought home an opt-out form if you do not want your child to participate. Also, fall make-up pictures will be on Thursday, October 23.

Open gym for boys interested in basketball will be tomorrow at 6:00 - 7:15. You must have a current NCHSAA preparticipation physical on file to participate. If you have any questions, email Mrs. Warren at swarren@mhslive.net

Tomorrow morning, 8th grade students will have Krispy Kreme doughnuts for sale in the drop off line. They will be $15 and can be paid for using checks made out to Mitchell Middle or cash. Get some yummy doughnuts and support our 8th graders and their OBX trip!

Mitchell Middle School Parents, Fall Picture Day will be Friday, September 12th. On this day, we will also take Fall Sports Pictures. Students will be bringing home a paper with a QR code that you can use to access their pictures. Photos should be available for viewing next week. Thank you and have a good evening!

We are excited to have a group here next week hosting a volleyball camp! This is free! Come join us!

Fall sports are beginning! Here is the men's soccer workout schedule: July 28-31 from 9-11 am Tryouts -- Aug 1st 9-11 am All at The Quarry. The Quarry is the field located beside the former Deyton Elementary building. You must have a current physical on file to participate.

Mitchell Middle School Open House will be August 14th from 3:00-6:00.

Our BBQ with Mitchell County Schools retired staff was so much fun last year, we are doing it again! If you retired from Mitchell County Schools from any role, please join us on Wednesday, August 13 at 5:00pm for a BBQ!

We don't have current contact information for all retired staff and don't want to leave anyone out, so we are just depending on social media and word-of-mouth to share the invitation.
