I’m Chad Calhoun, and it has been my privilege to serve as your superintendent since 2016. Our schools are built on a spirit of community, high expectations, and a deep commitment to helping every student discover and reach their full potential.
Over the last decade we have been fortunate to bring grant-driven improvements to our facilities. Those efforts have resulted in a brand-new school and a new athletic facility that provide safer, more modern, and inspiring spaces for learning, growth, and competition. These projects reflect our commitment to investing in the future of our students and the strength of our community.
I am proud of our students, families, and staff whose dedication, resilience, and collaboration make Mitchell County Schools a special place. Our educators work tirelessly to deliver engaging instruction, our support teams keep our schools safe and welcoming, and our families are true partners in the education process.
