Congratulations to Sadie Calhoun for winning the middle school portion of the MCS Christmas Card contest! Sadie is an 8th grader at Bowman and an outstanding artist. Sadie's favorite art medium is watercolors. She was inspired by the mountains surrounding her home and her love of animals.

The Christmas Clay sale has ended! Thank you to everyone who purchased and to all our students for their hard work! If you would still like to purchase a clay pot contact Ms.Kirk.

The start time for tonight's basketball games versus Madison Middle School has been moved to 3:30 instead of 4:30. Lady Bulldogs will start play at 3:30 this afternoon. If you ordered fruit, it has been delivered! You may pick up from now until 3 pm. Please enter through the front auditorium doors!

Mitchell County Schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday, December 11th. This will be a Schedule 2 Workday for Staff. (Schedule 2 means staff may arrive 2 hours later than normal.) Staff, please be aware of the black ice threat in the morning until around 10am. This will not be a remote learning day for students.

In preparation for the cold and snowy season, we want to remind everyone about our free MCS app. When we make weather calls, we will also post the same message on the website, social media, and the app at the same time. Make sure you have notifications turned on for the app!

Christmas Clay Sale!

Just a reminder tomorrow is an early dismissal day. We will start dismissing car riders at 11:00 am. There will be no after school tutoring tomorrow.

Thank you to everyone who was involved today staff,students,& parents! 875 doughnuts were sold! Doughnuts were not delivered until 1 pm & staff worked non stop until 5 this evening making sure all orders were filled. If a mistake was made please call the office tomorrow and we will work to make it right.

If you are in the pickup line already we are working diligently to get them ready for you. If you do not get your order by the time your student loads please pull down towards the gym and we will get your order. We appreciate your patience.

Doughnuts will be ready for pickup at 2:30. You will need to pull around the circle just like regular student drop off and pickups. A staff member will meet you at your car to get your name and order. Please stay in your car. Thank you!
