Students have the option to purchase their iPad this year!! If you are interested in purchasing your child's iPad, prepay online through http://family.titank12.com or pay by cash or check (made out to the school). K-3 iPads (7th gen, 32gb) are $160 and 4th-12th iPads (7th gen, 128gb) are $200 cases included. iPads will be available to take home at the end of school after testing. We will have more information on take-home dates from each school later.

Spring Band Concert is tonight! Please join BMS, HMS, and MHS Band in their season's final performance!

Any current 5th-11th grader who wants to participate in school sports next year must have an active sports physical on record at the school. Sports Physicals will be made available Wednesday, May 10th in the Mitchell High School gym at 3:00 pm.

Just a reminder parents are expected to pay all meal charges in full by the last day of each school year. Summer Bridge Program applications are being accepted now! Please ask your current 5th or 8th grader about a permission slip that has been sent home!!

Update : Mitchell County Sheriff's office has investigated the incident and there was no arrest and no credible threat. All Mitchell County Schools have been placed on a soft lockdown for the remainder of the day. This is in response to a non-specific threat outside the school system that law enforcement is currently investigating. Students are continuing with classes as usual, but not allowed outside the building. School dismissal will proceed as usual this afternoon.

Spring Break begins tomorrow, Friday, April 7 and continues through Friday, April 14th. We will see you on Monday, April, 17th!

Mitchell County Schools will be closed today, Tuesday, March 14th for students. This will be a Teacher Workday for staff. We are seeing snow in several areas this morning and it is predicted to continue throughout the morning.

There will be a Mitchell County Drug Awareness Program at Bear Creek Baptist Church in the Family Life Center on Wednesday, March 1st from 6:30 - 8:00. This will be for all ages. Please make plans to come support the community as everyone should know about drug awareness!
