The Internet is much like a city complete with beautiful, enriching areas as well as its seedy high crime zones.

Problem is, there are not always obvious street signs that reliably warn us of trouble. Sometimes the good and the bad can look deceptively similar.

It takes a combination of common sense and education to effectively guard yourself against online threats.

So be cautious, be smart. If it looks too good to be true, it is.
