Today we want to give a very special THANK YOU to the incredible Teacher Assistants at Gouge Primary!
Our TAs are truly the heart of our school. They step in wherever they are needed, love and encourage our students, support our teachers, and help keep our classrooms and school running smoothly each and every day.
So much of what they do happens quietly behind the scenes, but their impact is seen everywhere. We are incredibly grateful for the patience, flexibility, kindness, and love they bring to Gouge Primary.

🌺 **AFTERNOON TRANSPORTATION REMINDERS** 🌺
Parents & Guardians,
We understand that schedules change and sometimes afternoon transportation plans need to change, too. To help us make dismissal as **safe, smooth, and accurate as possible**, please keep these important reminders in mind:
🌴 **Have a plan each day.**
Please make sure your child knows how they will be going home before they arrive at school whenever possible. Consistent plans help us make sure every student gets where they need to go safely.
📞 **ALL transportation changes must go through the front office.**
**Do not send transportation changes through ClassDojo or directly to your child's teacher.**
👫 **Don't forget about siblings!**
If your transportation change also affects a sibling, **please tell the office the names of ALL students involved.** With so many students and families, our staff cannot always know or remember every sibling connection.
⏰ **Communicate changes as early as possible.**
The earlier we receive the information, the more time we have to communicate with teachers and staff and make sure everyone is in the correct place for dismissal.
🩵 **Clear communication = safe dismissal!**

The Sippin Station Lemonade truck will be here on Thursday! A portions of the proceeds will go to support Gouge PTO!
Just a reminder that our Open House and Title 1 Night will be this Thursday from 5-7! Pre-K Open House will be from 4-5 on Thursday! We will have parent/guardian and Title I informational meetings at 5:30 and 6:15 for those who can make it! Open House is a great time to meet your student's teacher and help ease any nervousness before Monday! We can't wait to see you!
