Mitchell High School

MHS provided a plethora of enriching learning experiences this week, including hands-on activities, real-life scenarios, community partnerships, and team-building exercises.

Students and teachers participated in the 2026 Empty Bowls Project for Shepherd's Staff, our local Food Room. We are always so proud of how generous you all are and how you step forward to help our community.

Local craftspeople and artists often donate time, resources, and their work to local organizations. Robbie Bell, a potter in the Cane Creek Community, donated the clay for our project, and John Britt, a potter in the Ledger Community, donated our glazes.

The bowls made at MHS will supply $40 each toward the needs of Shepherd's Staff. Collectively, our school will contribute $1,120.00 to the fund.

Students at MHS took time this morning to remember and learn about 9/11. Mitchell High School carries traditions from generation to generation that ensure our students receive a quality education, year after year. We had another wonderful week at MHS, full of collaboration, hands-on experience, and learning opportunities you won't find in most high schools! We are proud to be Mountaineers!

Before your child receives their iPad, the $20 annual technology fee and required technology forms must be completed. You can pay and sign forms during your child's Open House or during the first week of school. Please check with your child's school for accepted payment methods.
