Mitchell County Schools will be on a two hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, December 2, due to freezing rain and ice predicted overnight and tomorrow morning. If a decision to close school is needed, you will be notified by 7:00am. Staff may report on a one hour delay. Buildings will open for drop-offs one hour later than normal time.
Here’s the 2025 Fall Testing Plan for MHS! This year, students will have the opportunity to retake any EOC test they didn’t score proficient on. It’s a fantastic chance for students to show improvement, boost their scores, and showcase all the knowledge they’ve gained this semester.

Students who consistently attend school daily throughout the month are eligible to participate in this drawing and potentially win a prize. Regular attendance is a crucial factor in student success.
